Meet Our Instructor Team
Our experienced instructor team is dedicated to helping adults and children develop confidence, practical martial arts skills and strong Wing Chun foundations.
Sifu Elliott
Sifu Elliott is Head Sifu at Bishop’s Stortford Kung Fu and teaches both adults and children through structured, practical Wing Chun training focused on strong fundamentals, calm focus and real self-defence ability.
With over 15 years of experience, he holds a senior 3rd Higher Grade — equivalent to a 3rd-degree black belt — and was awarded the title of Sifu in 2023.
Known for his methodical teaching style, Sifu Elliott breaks techniques down clearly and systematically, helping beginners build strong foundations while allowing experienced students to continue developing their skills.
Alongside teaching at the school, he continues to train privately under Master Sifu Mauro Gibin, head of the Scuola Orientale Wing Chun system.
Sifu Tyler
Sifu Tyler is Joint Head Sifu at Bishop’s Stortford Kung Fu and brings a lifelong passion for martial arts to the school. He began training in Taekwondo at the age of seven before progressing into boxing during his early teens.
At 14, he discovered Wing Chun and was drawn to its principles of efficiency, technique and flow. It has remained the cornerstone of his martial arts training ever since.
With over 15 years of martial arts experience, Sifu Tyler has travelled across Europe to train with respected Wing Chun masters and has spent nearly a decade teaching and sharing his knowledge with students.
His approachable teaching style combines practical Wing Chun with a supportive but challenging environment, helping students develop confidence, discipline and genuine martial arts ability.
